Attorney Bobby Pearlman |
Robert B. Pearlman is certified by the South Carolina Supreme Court as a specialist in Taxation Law and heads the firm's taxation, estate planning and probate departments. A native Charlestonian, Mr. Pearlman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College in 1969, graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1972, and earned his Masters of Laws in Taxation degree from the College of William and Mary in 1974.
Mr. Pearlman has been engaged in private practice in Charleston since 1973 with primary emphasis on the representation of individual clients in the areas of estate planning, wills, trusts, and probate and estate administration, including contested matters. Mr. Pearlman also advises business clients in the areas of taxation and business planning, corporate and partnership law, and the newly developed area of limited liability companies.

A frequent lecturer at legal education seminars and programs, Mr. Pearlman is a member of the Charleston Tax Council, the South Carolina Bar Section on Taxation, as well as the section on Estate Planning and Probate. He is a member of both the American Bar Association and the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners. Mr. Pearlman has served on the State of South Carolina Tax Study Commission. For three years he served as a Commissioner on the South Carolina State Ethics Commission, for which he was awarded the Order of the Palmetto by Governor Richard Riley.
Mr. Pearlman maintains the highest professional rating in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers in the field of taxation and in Best Lawyers in America. |

Attorney Leah Lynch |
Ms. Leah Lynch received her law degree from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law in 2007, and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida in 2004. She was admitted to practice law in South Carolina in 2009. She is currently in the process of receiving her master in taxation (L.L.M. in Tax) from the School of Law at the University of Alabama, which will be completed in 2011.
Leah grew up in Beech Mountain, North Carolina as well as the Tampa Bay area of Florida. After law school she moved to Charleston and began her career with Pearlman & Pearlman, P.C. She is focused on estate planning, probate and elder law matters.

Leah is an active member of the Charleston County Bar, the Charleston Young Professionals, the South Carolina Women’s Lawyers Association (Lowcountry chapter), the Mount Pleasant Business Professional Association, and the Preservation Society of Charleston. |

Paralegal Jayne Bryant |
Mrs. Bryant graduated from the University of Vermont in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in Studio Art. She relocated to Charleston from Maine in 1997 and received her paralegal certificate in 1998. She has been with Pearlman and Pearlman, P.C. since 2002. |
